Our Story

Hi, I'm Michele.

I'm the one-woman operation behind The Pig & Butterfly. I design every sticker and magnet in this shop myself, from Havre, Montana — up on the Hi-Line, where the prairie runs out and the sky takes over — and I have them printed here in the United States.

Why I started this

Adulthood doesn't hand out trophies. You got out of bed. You drank water on purpose. You cried, and then you did the thing anyway. Nobody throws a parade for that, so I made the medals myself.

This shop is for elder millennials, pop-culture people, and anyone who has decided the best way through a rough world is to laugh at it a little. A sticker or a magnet is a small thing, but it's a good small thing: a gift to yourself for surviving the week, or a way to tell someone you see them and you're in their corner.

How my designs are made

Every design starts with an idea from everyday life: something I overheard, a small win nobody noticed, a corner of Montana, or a pop-culture moment that won't leave my head. I jot it down, then work it up into an illustration.

I design in tools like Canva and Adobe, and those programs include AI features. I want to be upfront about that: some AI is used throughout my process — to polish and refine artwork, clean up and manage backgrounds, and create the mock-up photos you see on product pages (like a sticker on a water bottle or a magnet on a fridge). The ideas, the words, the design decisions, and the final say on every piece are mine.

Good product, fair price

I want these to be worth what you pay. The stickers are matte, weatherproof vinyl — made for water bottles, laptops, planners, coolers and bumpers — and the magnets are made for the fridge that already holds your life together. The Adulting badges are a consistent 2-inch circle so they collect nicely.
